For over two decades, I’ve been deeply involved in Direct Selling, learning how real connections, product knowledge, and trust create lasting business success.
Today, I bring that same passion into the digital world — helping everyday Filipinos build hybrid businesses that thrive both offline and online.

1995 – The Beginning: Direct Impulse Selling
I began my journey in Direct Impulse Selling in 1995, selling products face-to-face with enthusiasm and conviction.It was during these years that I learned one of the most valuable business lessons:

When I discovered GDI (Global Domains International) and learned how websites, emails, and online marketing work, I realized I could multiply my results and help others do the same.
That’s how MBWDS was eventually conceived— a brand dedicated to helping people combine personal selling with digital presence, using a system that works in the real world.

2000 – Growth Through Real Experience
As the years went by, I refined my selling skills and gained deeper insights into how people think and buy. During this stage, I learned how to handle rejections, build rapport, and maintain integrity in every transaction.

This period strengthened my discipline and faith — preparing me for greater opportunities ahead.Those years of experience became the backbone of how I teach and mentor others in business today.
2020 – Pandemic Turning Point
When the pandemic changed how people worked and sold, I made a life-changing decision — to learn Online Marketing seriously to keep growing.While searching and applying for virtual assistant jobs, I discovered a Virtual Assistant Internship Program — an Online Local Marketing Crash Course where I served as a paid intern for 11 months (2022–2023).

That internship taught me the fundamentals of SEO, website development, and digital promotion — giving me a strong foundation to bring my offline sales experience into the digital world.
2023–Present – The Hybrid System and MBWDS
After the world reopened, I began applying everything I had learned — combining my offline selling experience with the power of online marketing.This became the start of my Hybrid Marketing System, a blend of personal connection and digital reach.
In the same year, a typhoon hit Gapan, Nueva Ecija, cutting our electricity for over a month and halting my online activities.Though I wasn’t able to complete the graduation for my internship, the experience taught me resilience and purpose.

On September 29, 2024, I officially registered my business — MBWDS (Marvin Bumatay Web Development Services).Today, MBWDS serves as the foundation of my mission: to help others build hybrid businesses using Wins Perfumes for offline income and GDI’s global tools for online growth — uniting both worlds into one sustainable system.
